THE CARD SHOP PRODUCTS

Getting into making cards.

It’s not a shop at all. It’s just my desk or drafting table.

3 Dimensional Bridge

This card is shadow box style with three layers for added dimension. It folds flat to fit into a standard envelope.

3 Dimensional Castle with Couple

Castles always bring a hint of romance. This card works well as an engagement card.

Layered Dimensional Card

We have found that, as we continue to learn about cards, cards with layers always add a sense of drama and interest.

Stamped and Colored Pencil

We love to personalize our Christmas cards each year. This card has three different stamped images, and Joanie colored each of the images with colored pencils to add the definition to the designs.

3 Dimensional Pop-up Card

This is a variation of the 3 dimensional bridge card above. We added extra cutting on the card and lined the card with a darker color liner to the outside to emphasize the cutting.

Kids Love Knights

This is a fun card because the pop-ups add dimension. Kids love cards that have surprises to them, and the knights by the castle make it a great birthday card.

Sometimes you just have to dream things up. The hard part is taking the time to make the cards. This one was hard to make. Had to design the tree and fold it. The rest of the card was easy. The insert card showed how to construct the finished card. The box became the platform for the tree and gifts to sit on.
