Most customers come with a design that just will not work. So at no charge we would fix it so it worked on shirts, hats, sweats and signs. Sometimes you just can’t change the design like the NBC peacock. Even the colors have to be right. So we had lots of vinyl colors and a book with instructions on how to mix each color of ink. We had pigments and a base coat. I loved doing the artwork the most and it made it faster and easier to print the shirt. We have tried many things including pad printing. We also were a one stop shop. We would order key chains, frisbees, pens, patchs etc.
Our shirts were on the Johnny Carson Show

Heavenly Artworks Pad Printing
Our pad printing machine was by Basco of Chatsworth, Ca. (It looked something like the one on the left) The ink was very hard to control. It had something to do with the dry air in the room. So we did 6 jobs and paid for all of the ink and machine. Sold it a year later. We printed soda can openers, small flashlights, and magnet business cards. The pad printer will print on uneven surfaces.
